Nightcloud

kinda an abstract thing, i guess. just messing around with the acrylic brush lately and some different styles. 

Like Daisy, Nightcloud is a character I misunderstood first reading the books; she's widely hated by the fandom--mainly for "getting in the way of Crowfeather and Leafpool". Now that I'm older, I can just shake my head because if you look at Nightcloud she is a really amazing character. I mean, Crowfeather pretty much just uses her to get accepted back into the Clan's good graces. "but Crowfeather cares for her" Yes, but he still uses her; he probably just cares about her as a Clanmate tbqh. Nightcloud pretty much had to raise Breezepelt on her own seeing as how Crowfeather appears to be a pretty neglectful father (in Outcast, Breezepelt was looking for Crowfeather's praise, but he ignored his son and instead complimented the ThunderClan apprentices). Nightcloud's personality is actually somewhat similar to Squirrelflight's, and most of the fanbase might not like Squirrelflight either (oh man, I might be getting off-topic here and going on to defend Squirrelflight as well, hehe), but they are both great characters even though they may not be "sweet" or "gentle" or some bull that the Erin's say about contrasts between Leafpool and Nightcloud. Yeah, long rant is over.

Summary:
I like Daisy, Nightcloud and Squirrelflight now even though younger me was kind of a moron and didn't like them.
